FALL HARVEST

Saturday & Sunday

Our annual pumpkin harvest season at Milky Way Farm runs Sept 30-Oct 29, 2023. For Saturdays and Sundays, purchase $5 admission tickets for each person. Wander through the corn maze, take family photos, visit the farm animals, and stroll to one of our pumpkin patches through our farm meadow as part of your 2-hour experience. New this year, purchase a $9 admission ticket and also be able to hop on one of our ticketed hayrides to a different pumpkin patch. Bring your own wagon or borrow one of our wagons to carry pumpkins, fall harvest items, vegetables, and honey products which may be purchased during your visit.  Chester Springs Creamery will be open for ice cream from 11am-8 pm on these days. We are open rain or shine.

Friday

During pumpkin harvest season, visitors may come on Fridays from 3-5 pm to purchase pumpkins, walk to the patch, and visit farm animals. Tickets to our family-friendly corn maze are available for $3.00/ticket.

Monday-Thursday

The farm will not be open Monday-Thursday to the general public as in past years.

We grow 4 acres of pumpkins, which yield approximately 10,000 pumpkins in a favorable weather year. Visitors to the farm can purchase pumpkins from the pumpkin patch often right off the vine, precut in the field, or selected in the sales area. We support other local farmers in sourcing additional varieties and sizes of pumpkins. Other fall harvest products, such as gourds, Indian corn, crookneck pumpkins, squash, cornstalk bundles, miniature pumpkins, and many fall decorative items are available too.

Private hayrides for 20-25 people can be pre-arranged on weekdays for $150. Email mwfpumpkinharvest@gmail.com to check availability.

We are no longer able to offer free hayrides due to new regulations, increased insurance liability and rising fuel prices.
