Family/Scout — Milky Way Farm offers private tours to groups and families of all ages. Our tours emphasize close interaction with our farm animals, farm crops, and machinery while promoting an understanding of farming as a way of life. Generally, these tours are conducted during evening feeding time when families can assist with cow and calf feeding, collecting of eggs, feeding of goats and sheep, and watching the cows being milked by our robot! In addition, we tailor tours for scouting groups working on scout badges. The tour enables the scouts to meet one of the requirements of the conservation, farm, animal, and ecology badges. Come and personally experience the uniqueness of dairy farming. The cost of the tour is $15.00 per person or a minimum of $60. The length of the tour is one hour. Private tours are available April-September, preferably on the weekends.
